Jefferson City
Swing Dance Club

The Jefferson City Swing Dance Club (JCSDC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Swing Dancing in the central Missouri area. We also promote a variety of other dance styles including Country Two-Step, Cha Cha, Nightclub Two-Step and Line Dancing.

The JCSDC's history started when Charles Stone opened 1212 East High Street for Friday night dances with dance lessons in the fall of 2009.

In April 2010, we received our official notice as a club from the Secretary of State.

The JCSDC is a member of the Midwest Swing Dance Federation and the American Bop Association.

Official memberships to the club started in June of 2011.

In addition to dancing, we strive to support our community.  We have given financially to the Samaritan Center, the Jefferson City Boys and Girls Club, and Joplin tornado victims.
